The Boys Check Ups

My boys are in good health, granted we have been battling random viruses, everything else is awesome!
Ashton is 56 lbs (75%) and 4 ft 2 in (90%)

Thomas-Jensen is 35 lbs (90%) and 3 ft 2 in (75%)

Jackson is 42 lbs (50%) and 3 ft 6 in (55%)

Everyone is in good general health. Ashton is developing fine. Dr Klee assured me that with his size fine motor skills like tying his shoes may take him longer. Whereas gross motor skills are easier to accomplish. He assured me that it's okay Ashton is so literal, he is a smart child. He said children like Ashton tend to have issues with random concepts like pretend and imagination. But, that it's okay for him to be concrete and sequential.
Thomas is a doing fine too. He is still lagging a little in the language department, he still talks in short choppy sentences. We agreed it's because everyone talks for him. We upped his asthma medicine again, in hopes to get control before the humidity of spring and summer set in.
Jackson, he didn't really have an appointment, but he came with to say goodbye. He is still a little peanut, but growing just fine. We talked about his legs, we are going to continue to monitor his hips. He will still require trips once a year to Duluth to have his legs measured. Hopefully he will start outgrowing this femoral anteversion. While it appears to be getting worse we are hopeful it will still correct itself. Finger's crossed, he has 4 years or so to outgrow it.
This was our last official appointment with Dr Klee and his nurse Robin. He is leaving our clinic in June, and moving shortly there after. He was responsible for delivering all 3 of my boys. He has been our dr for over 6 years. He has been a great dr to our entire family. The boys don't understand yet that we won't be seeing him again, they have seen him their whole lives. So the transition should be interesting. We decided not to prolong our stay with our clinic, we want to be settled with another dr as soon as possible. That way we are able to establish a relationship before summer comes. With asthma and allergies, spring and summer generally require more dr visits.
Thank you for taking such good care of our family Dr Klee and Robin. It was a pleasure getting to know you both and our family will miss you both very much. Take care.
