Family Party

It was a lovely party, thank you to everyone who was able to attend.

The boys loved opening gifts (seriously what child doesn't)! Even Jack received a present or two to open. Lucky kids!
TJ climbed on a chair to blow out his candles, Ashton just sat in the chair (he's not into the song, it use to make him cry).

Birthday Movie and Popcorn

Decorating For Family Party

We had a Construction theme for the boys family party. With Ashton and TJ's birthdays only 9 days apart they share a family party. This isn't the finished product, as I was waiting for my long table (for the food). But you get the idea. The party got under way too fast for me to take the rest of the pictures before everyone arrived.

Birthday Prayers for My Little Boy

To my son, my baby. Tonight, March 20th, you are two. This is the last night I will hold you, as my little two year old son. Tomorrow you will be three, and although you may not feel any older, I watch you grow and know how fast this time is passing. I cried when you turned one, when you took your first steps, when you spoke your first word, I cried when you turned two, when you climbed with the steps for the first time, when you used the potty without any help from me. For everyday you grow, bigger and stronger and brighter. Your future awaits you, and you face it eagerly. I am so proud of how you are growing to be such a brave, sweet, and caring little big boy. I miss the baby you were, I miss the toddler you have been, I cannot wait to explore with the preschooler you are becoming. As I sit here and watch you sleep I cry for all the moments I wasn't able to capture on film or in my mind. I pray that God will keep you close to his heart, guide your steps as you grow, be in your thoughts and your actions. I love you my Baby Thomas.
Watch over your child, O Lord, as his days increase; bless and guide him wherever he may be. Strengthen him when he stands; comfort him when discouraged or sorrowful; raise him up if he falls; and in his heart may your peace which passes understanding abide all the days of his life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thomas' Birthday Party PlayDate

For the last two years TJ has been able to have his own special birthday party playdate with his friends from playgroup. This year the plague of viruses have hit a lot of our friends. So his party was more closeknit. We were so thankful to the wonderful friends who were able to join in on the fun.
Opening presents, thanks Bodi for helping and for the great gift!!!
Egg hunt, it was windy but still nice weather for a hunt!
Decorating Cupcakes!
Thank you to everyone who was able to make it, thank you for the wonderful gifts and time spent sharing in TJ's special playdate.

My Little Wii Baby

Thomas loves the Wii, he loves to play baseball, bowling, and golf with his brothers. We tried to fool Thomas by giving him a controller and playing behind him, but he caught on and screamed"My Turn!" when this happened.

Thank Goodness For Spring

Well we couldn't be happier that spring is finally here. The snow is almost completely gone and our yard is pretty soggy in some places. But the weather has been nice and we thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to get out of the house.

Ashton brought out his clubs and practiced by hitting around tennis balls, than started putting with his yellow golf balls. I am sure the crows will be thrilled at all the shiney balls in the yard.

Spending Time with Grandpa

There were several funeral in Mellen over a week span. Jesse's father came up from Kenosha to attend them and he stayed with us. The boys wore him out playing board games, Wii, and just plain playing.

Thanks Grandpa, we had fun!
