Grandpa and Grandma Neibauer and Westyn's plots. This was a very sad day indeed. It is always sad to visit those we didn't get to spend enough time with. Jesse remembers his Grandpa very fondly, but the boys were never able to meet them.
Jackson places his flower on his Great Grandma Myrna's stone.
Ashton placing flowers on his name sake's stone, his Great Grandfather Adrain Roy Neibauer
Jackson placing his flowers on his cousin Westyn's stone. This is especially sad for us, Westyn is the son of Jesse's brother. He would have been less than a month older than Jack. I know they would have been best of friends. We know that Westyn is in heaven watching over his parents and all his cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We miss you Westyn, everyday.
Thomas feeling especially sad, I think children know more than we think they do.
Thomas-Jensen Neal Parker placing his flowers (with his dad's help) on his name-sakes stone. Neal Turney was one of Jesse's very dear friends. We lost him too soon on July 5, 2005. Neal the team misses you, we miss you, and we think of you often.
Thomas stopping to visit with his great Aunt Marva. She was Jesse's awesome aunt. She passed too soon shortly around the time Jesse and I were married.

LumberKids FunFest 2009
Ashton wanted to participate in the NC Volleyball Clinic. He had such a great time! It was 3 Fridays, and then there was the LumberKids FunFest. This involved kids ages 4-14. All 3 of my boys participated. They had soccer, volleyball, hoola-hoops, coloring books, games and puzzles, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk. It was a really fun time!

Auntie Heather's Graduation
My little sister graduated May 9th with a Master's of Art in Speech Communication from the Minnesota State University, Mankato. She was a graduate assistant, which means she taught while she went to school. She never fussed or fretted over school, she paced herself and made every deadline without breaking a sweat. She put 100% in and it paid off, because she graduated and will be having her thesis published, which is such an honor.
Congratulations Auntie Heather, we are so very proud of you. All of your hard work has paid off. You attempted grad school and you more than succeeded, you rocked it! Great job, you are our inspiration.

Playing Miniature Golf . . . For the Second Time!
Most of you know Ashton's favorite thing to do is play golf. At home, he plays golf in the yard, in the house, probably at school. He has played golf with his tooth brushes! He told us he wants to play golf when he grows up, we convinced him to be a doctor so that he could play golf all the time. Terrible, maybe. I have often wondered if Tiger Woods did this, played golf non-stop when he was a youth.
