Oredock Memories

A Most Magical Night

We sat in the outfield at the little league ball park. It was just Jesse and I, the boys, Jesse's sister Amy, her daughter Arianna and two of her friends. All together nine people! A tiny group, we had the fire works all to our selves, it was awesome! My mom and sister watched in Ashland at the lake, it was packed!!!! Not for us, it was so peaceful, they were right over our heads, it was quite magical!

Watermelon Eating Contest

Ready, Set, GO! Ashton and TJ entered the watermelon eating contest. Ashton took second, TJ did awesome but didn't place. You can see him standing on his little tip toes because he couldn't really reach the table. It was so much fun to watch the boys doing this!!!! Ashton told me when it was over, he doesn't really like watermelon, but he loves contests!

Arianna, the boys cousin and my niece, took first in her age group!

4th of July Baseball Game

The boys Daddy plays baseball for the Mellen city team, Iron City Miners. He pitches, catches, play out field and in field. This day he pitched. He did awesome, pitched a great game and even hit a home run! We are so proud of him and love going to his games. I know the boys really love watching their dad play baseball.

Uncle Brett, Cousin James, and Daddy

Daddy hitting his home run!

Dad's players cheering him home!
Daddy pitching.

Cousin Christopher and his twin, TJ! There is a picture of Chris as a baby that looks identical to Thomas. It is amazing.

July 4, 2009 Parade Fun

The boys had a blast at the parade. Since their Daddy plays baseball in Mellen, we attend the Mellen parade. We sit in the same spot the family has sat in for many, many years. This is my favorite day of the summer. We do the parade, than head down to the ball park for the ball game, then we watch the fireworks. It's a very beautiful!
