Snowy Sunday

Our snowman was a little on the small side, we had only a little bit of time before church started. Blue gumballs for eyes wasn't the best idea, apparently when wet the gumballs leak creating a freaky eyed effect. Nonetheless the boys loved our little snowbuddy. Jackson attempted a stare down, sadly he lost.

Snowshoeing For the First Time

I haven't been snowshoeing since I was a small child. Wow, have snowshoes changed. They are much more narrow, easy to walk in, easy to get on, all around fun for the entire family. We went snowshoeing with three other families at our local Visitor Center. They have the shoes and trails you can take. It was awesome. All three boys tried it and really enjoyed it, this is something we will do again. It's still a lot of hard work, but everyone loved it!

WAKO Sleigh Ride

A warm fire, hot chocolate and marshmallows, good friends. A perfect day for a sleigh ride!

This is Lily, she LOVES TJ. Not once, but twice Thomas-Jensen had his ENTIRE hand in her mouth. Much to my chagrin! Thankfully Lily chose not to eat his hand. He loved it, he kept saying, "Look Mom, she's kissing me!" Lily is a Belgium, which means she is a HUGE horse, neither time she was "kissing" his hand could you even see it. He was wrist deep in her horse mouth!
Watching for signs of the sleigh.
Fun friends to enjoy the day with.
Waiting for the sleigh to come.
Such a silly boy!
Three little buddies!
Saffron and her sleigh have arrived.
Thomas is so excited! It was quite a fun ride. A little tippy, but we managed to stay intact. Thank goodness for a group like WAKO (Women And Kids Outdoors)! They set this up and paid the expenses! Thank you WAKO for creating wonderful memories for areas families!
When the sleigh ride was over the kids had a blast just playing in the snow!
