Ashton got his cast off on March 10th. The dr had to double check with his previous x rays because he couldn't tell where the bone had even broken. It's amazing how fast children heal, thank God! He is still walking like his foots in the cast, there is a massive bruise on the bottom of his foot, and he leg is easily tired. But, in time he will be back to his old self, hopefully not back to running down the stairs!

Ashton Gets Another New Cast
Ashton's lining falling out of his cast, so he ended up needing a new one. Whoops. Thankfully Auntie Amy is just as fast getting the old one off and a new one on. He picked the same color, glow-in-the-dark. It was so cool to watch her cut the old cast off. The saw cannot cut skin, just cast, so there was nothing to fear.

Ashton's Broken Foot
I am always telling my kids to stopping running on the stairs, especially since this is the first time in their lives we have lived a in home with steps. Alas, my words fall on deaf ears. Point proven when Ashton ran down the hallway and down the steps, only to fall on the last set of steps breaking three bones in the top of his foot. :(
