Jackson's First Communion

Jackson's Baptism First Communion
Jackson celebrated his First Communion, an event he has been looking forward to for many years. Prior to his Communion, he would pout and fuss about "wishing" he could take communion with his family. His wish finally came true, and he was one excited kiddo. He enjoyed every aspect of this religious tradition, from the clothing, to the prayers, carrying his book of prayers and rosary, as well as a pin Grandma Jane brought him to wear. Ashton wanted to share in Jack's special day by serving in the Mass. His prayers were answered when one of the boys scheduled allowed Ashton to take his place. Ashton hopes he will be able to share in TJ's special day too!
We are so proud of you Jackson! I remember his Baptism, every time the priest would say Jesus our baby Jack would coo and giggle, we knew then God had special plans for you. My prayer for you will be to continue to grow in God's grace, peace, and mercy. May your special bond continue and carry you forward in this life, my son.

John
6: 53-58
Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son
of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever feeds on my flesh
and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever feeds on my
flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent
me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live
because of me. ...
The service is starting. Ashton is leading with Mathew.

Silly pictures, what monumental day isn't complete without goofy pics!
